  1. I think one can live a ketogenic lifestyle without being in ketosis all the time. I go in and out of ketosis by small alterations in my diet keeping it low carb high fat.

  2. It's not new; the ketogenic diet was used to treat mental and physical conditions since the 1900s. Finding and treating deficiencies is another way. But since big pharma took over, and health has become a big business, they just want to sell us more and more pills.

  3. Time to change the paradigm. We humans have two fuels we can use: glucose and ketones. Early humans used ketones for energy far more than we do today since their diets were mostly meat. When we eat mostly meat, our bodies make both ketones and glucose. However once we consume a certain amount of carbohydrates it is very difficult to make ketones and we become consumers of only one fuel, which is glucose. So the best way to make ketones is to eat mostly meat and few plants. Fasting will also make ketones, sprinting will and so will taking MCT oil. These four things are the best way to make the other fuel we seldom make any more because we consume too many plants. Two fuels are better than one.

  4. Keto is saving my life. Thank you so much for your Chanel🙏🏽 I am curious about a video – women’s period , psychosis/ mental illness and ketogenic therapy, this is my suggestion 🙏🏽

  5. This concept has always surprised me. It's amazing how many people don't realize that you can be in ketosis on a very high carb diet! There are extreme athletes who eat over 300 g of carbs per day and are in ketosis every single day.
