  1. My husband just qs on quetiapine for years for schizo-affective bipolar disorder for years. He hasn't touched them in almost 2 years and is now one of the happiest people I know. How does that happen?

  2. What medication is recommended for Cyclothymic Disorder? I am on Citalopram and I used to wake up with nightmares, night terrors and anxiety attacks due to my heightened anxiety.

  3. I’ve been on both seroquel and lamotragine- the seroquel had me sedated and dumbed and made it so I’d overheat super easily during “fun times” and a fuck ton of other not fun at all side effects that kept me from easily living my life- in addition to making me super sick when it starts to wear off. Lamotrigine, on the other hand, tends to give me lots of anxiety and suicidal thoughts and tiredness that I can’t really function with. at this point I’d just rather take care of my comorbid ADHD and deal with the bipolar as is

  4. What if you're almost always experience depression and never experience what looks like mania but rather experience periods of normal where depression is not that bad.

  5. I was prescribe depression anxiety pill by pcp effexor at high dosage. I was manic alot. I couldn't take it so went to walk in. They stated I need mood stabilizers which with my depression put me on Lamictal. Now I'm added with adhd meds

  6. Quetiapine is from far the worst medication I have ever Taken. The worst nightmares of my life, resulting in night without reste, terrible stomach pains, huge weight gain, migraines, tiredness….
Lamotrigine did not work for me … Like, did not work.

  7. latuda gave me agonizing leg tremors it felt like a cold achy pain in my legs and i could never fall asleep or get comfortable. Almost like restless leg syndrome, I had to constantly move them or use a heating pad to fall asleep. Sucks because the medication did help me emotionally

  8. I’ve taken quetiapin for 4 years since getting out of prison. Nothing bad. It helps me sleep. I was taking 100mg every night. I didn’t know there were withdrawals tho if u don’t take it. Had to find that out the hard way

  9. Oh man. I don’t and have never done well on ANY antidepressant. They all turn me into a zombie.

After a few years without a depressive or manic episode, I decided to try Vraylar. Trying to dodge the regular seasonal depression but I felt like it was juicing me up the more I took it. Jitters, no sleep, and feeling wired.

I jumped ship and went back to an old med that didn’t do so much damage, Trileptal. Hope it doesn’t turn into a disaster. No mania in nearly 2 years, and I hope the marathon continues.

  10. I have mania episode and depressive mixed. Also I have Epilepsy, they gave me Depakine chrono 300mg I have seizure mostly then I dont taking this nedicine.. Please tell me what medic I should take.. Please Im in bad bad situation😢

  11. I have a NP who prescribes me 300 milligrams of lamictal. She's a real piece of work. Not the brightest bulb in the package. I think I'm dumping her to find a real Doctor. 🙄

  12. I now have a traumatic brain injury , I've become apathetic and indifferent to anything after 34 years of all of those and much more .

    Why oh Why 😭
