New report reveals access to maternal mental health care needs major improvements

One in five women in the U.S. suffers from a mental health disorder in the months before or after having a baby, but most don’t get the care they need.

A just-released state report card from the Policy Center for Mental Health shows that when it comes to providing access to maternal mental healthcare, 19 states earned Ds and Fs.
