Mental Health Break

Shift your mindset with a quick Mental Health Break designed to ground the body and still the mind. A little goes a long way. We will utilize breath awareness and grounding techniques to move our bodies into a state of ease. Let the art of noticing gently guide you back to the present moment and calm the monkey mind. Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras says:

“Yoga is the stilling of the fluctuations of the mind.”

In yoga, we are empowered to approach these fluctuations without judgment. Through practice we can move from a state of distraction and overthinking, to a state of stillness, focus, and ultimately wholeness. It is my honor to guide you today. Are you with me?

  2. This came at a perfect time! I recently took a couple days off work for a mental health break, and I’m returning back to work tomorrow. This practice is a great way to end the day.

  3. Wow 😘 I can’t explain, how much I love you Adriene. Cause you're my life saver while someone is always up on my head to make me unhappy. Thank you! Namaste 🙏💚🌿🍀

  4. Needed this today. Just a few minutes made a huge difference. Also I've been slowly reading The Calm Within by Eleanore Blake on mindbloomery, and it's such a beautiful companion to moments like this. Quiet, thoughtful, grounding. Highly recommend if you're on a journey to reconnect with yourself.

  5. Sometimes when the world feels like a very scary place, it is nice to come back home to my safe place (ie. Your channel) to spend some time with you Adriene, someone who is kind, generous and loving to all people. It is with your help that I can now feel safe within my body for the first time in 15 years (ie. half my life as I am 31). This is quite the miracle given what is going on in the world at the moment. So thank you Adriene, for helping me find my safe place, not only here on this beautiful channel, but now also within my body <3

  8. Adriene I am so sad about you didn't give a heart on my lovely comment, but others got a heart on their comments. But maybe it wasn't your intention you have overlooked my lovely meant comment. You get so many comments and it's almost Impossible to react on any single comment. But nevertheless I would be so happy if you would reply or react.
