Tried to call my GP for over a week, it goes to voicemail. Called 111 told them my symptoms, go to A&E, so I go to Bolton A&E today. I waited in a queue for over 45 mins to get to the reception desk, a woman behind me collapses, medics attend to her and administer CPR then she's whisked away into a side room. I speak to the receptionist who cannot hear me as there is several layers of mask and screen and she enters my details wrong. I wait 5 hours to see a Doctor, who is not from these shores, I know this because he cannot speak any English, AT ALL!. He attempted to put a cannular into my arm for no reason, whereupon the nurse stopped him, physically. He told me to go to x-ray and for blood tests. After an hour of waiting, so its now 6 hours, I go to reception and ask if they know why I haven't been seen. Yes, they forgot about me. So I see the Doctor again and he tells me, after several attempts to se my GP. Yes we come full circle.
I did not make this up, this really happened, to me, today. This is the medical treatment I, and everyone else is paying for.
