  1. I had a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) in 2019. I lost memory, had poor recall, my vocabulary was stunted, I experienced emotional dysregulation and struggled with simple tasks. My kids got me to play my first video game – an MMO (Final Fantasy XIV), and it dramatically improved almost all areas of my brain function. From spatial skills, to reaction time, improved memory, increased vocabulary, and a significant reduction in my migraines from the TBI. I'm in my 50s, by the way. So I absolutely believe video gaming can play a critical role in brain plasticity and repair.

  2. A total puff piece with zero facts offered. Do you have any idea how many research papers are not peer reviewed & fall into the category of "pure puff pieces"?! And how many papers are fully or partially AT produced these days? Extreme caution is advised in both buying into the conclusions as well as taking any opinions from gamers below seriously.
