I had my c&p exam today and the Dr. was easy going I answered my questions straight forward and didn't talk too much. He said he agreed with me having PTSD and he was going to put in the "remarks" that I need intensive inpatient care to help me deal with my PTSD? Has anyone ever had that at their exam?
Two aircraft accidents? Flying over enemy armor?
I currently have 70% for PTSD. If I claim anxiety and depression as secondary to PTSD, will it will be 3 separate ratings or are they all filed under just one mental health disorder?
can being put in the brig and being punished to bread and water and hard labor give you PTSD
You should make a video laying out a mock C&P exam what it looks like sounds and ways your word it. And talk about bad rxamples as well that would be pretty cool and helpful.

Why can’t you record your c&p exam
so where do you go to talk to the examiner
Can someone help me. So quick rundown
2024 i went on a 9 month deployment and during it i was told by tmc to go to a therapist while overseas and after getting check i told him about my past trauma
So now i got a LOD from that and what i want to ask is-
Does the c&p know the descriptions of the LOD like me talking about my past trauma?
If they do know how can i stil claim my va disability, like do i say this combat deployment triggered my anxiety and depression or something?
Question. I've been seeing a non VA psychiatrist for a while now, but I have an appointment with a VA doctor coming up. I do not want to tell them about my non VA doctor because I feel the history there has too much pre military trauma that may get my claim denied. So when they ask me if I'm taking any meds and seeing any other doctor, what should I say?
Thanks for your service big dawf🥹👍🏽
I failed the first exam with one question….. Are you afraid to die ..? I said no.. wrong answer.
Plenty of people in the military are mentally ill
I did an appeal for PTSD denial , my appeal was granted and they ordered 2 more C and P exams, for PTSD I was able to request the results, one examer in June said my PTSD was service connected, then the second examer in July said it was not service connected. so which one will the VA go with ? Ive been waiting almost 4 months for the decision
It seems there are varying experiences when it comes to C&P exams for PTSD. My exam was very quick, not many questions at all. The DR said she was going off the notes from the VA and that was more than enough for her to make a diagnosis. Has anyone else had this experience?
Should I dress to impress for Mental Health exam or look half way put together?
What if I don’t have evidence in the army especially because they’ll make fun of me for it going in
Has anyone here had a positive C & P exam, then followed by an increase or denial?
I just had my exam, and the doctor was great, and he suggested he would recommend 100% (Im currently at 40%). He also said they may very likely approve the increase, but it may not be 100%.
If you are filing a BDD claim (still on active duty)… is there any need to talk about how the service caused your symptoms/disorders?
Ok what about insomnia and GAD secondary to Tinnitus , how would that exam go for secondary
Dude you look like AOC when you cover your face like that.
Will my status as a retired person affect my occupational status even though I claimed suicidal ideation?
At my mental health c&p exam.
Doing a c and p exam for MH next week. Any advice please?
Thank you for the videos Clay. Appreciate you brother. Do you know if the examiners speak to family members or my spouse during the evidence gathering portion? I think spouse and or family testimony would be a good thing given my habbits due to my depression (mood swings, and social isolation)… Thank you!
What is there was military sexual stuff that was witnessed and having to take measures to prevent being raped that happened but wasn’t reported?
Does this exam affect you to own a firearm?
This video gives me hope, thank you! Have my c&p exam next monday and am nervous. First time around they denied me, the guy was a jerk and said I had post partum depression despite proof I've been seeing a therapist for the last 12 years, since I got out. Hoping this time around goes better and I get at least some rating. I heard statements from friends and parents help as well, didn't know this first time I applied. Thanks for your advice!
