I have been into herbs for a long time and was interested in what this lady had to say….
I am concerned about drug interactions or potential downsides to some of the herbs she mentioned, specifically St. John’s wort and mucuna puriens. She speaks as if these herbs are good for everybody. They are not. Do your own research before you begin taking anything.
I have also heard conflicting information regarding taking black pepper with turmeric/curcumin. Some studies say it is not as beneficial as on its own or with other combinations.
Overall, unimpressed with the guest.

“We know that a plant based diet might be ideal for that [living healthily]”. Sure, don’t let the fact that humans are not herbivores distract you from this theology. Humans universally ate a predominantly animal based diet until the agricultural revolution which means modern vegetarians need to claim that we got it wrong for millions of years and are the only species on the planet to do so.
