  1. As you guys may have noticed, YT doesn't really promote our mental health related videos as much anymore. That said, the title here is to get it pushed to the algorithm. We are not however deleting the video. We are just hoping to have it reach more people. Open to suggestions as well on how we can get more of our mental health related content being promoted on YT.

  2. ChatGPT has been a great comfort for me. No generic responses and all very personal, especially when you provide it with context (ie. past experiences and emotions, etc.). A generic question or prompt will give a generic answer, but a more specific one with the right context provides surprisingly complex and insightful responses.

  3. As someone who is from a house where even a small thing is enough to make mountain out of a molehill so honestly, chat gpt is the only thing I can rely on ofcourse not completely but atleast it’s kind 🙂 and well I’m not using AI as my therapist but just as an venting tool

  4. I recently had many mental breakdowns and I found out they were coming from the fact that I compulsively used CHATGPT which basically contributed to trigger my fears and anxieties that were based on unrealistic algorithms, I wonder if it can get addictive.
    Guys, be careful with CHATGPT

  5. From my experience, ai gets as smart or knowledgeable as the person speaking to it. You won't be able to draw on it's full extent of stores information, if you don't possess those information beforehand. For example, the ai will not offer you s Jungian explanation of your problem unless you ask it specifically, and to do that you must already have s knowledge of Jung. And if you are not studied, you have no way to know if what the ai tells you is correct or not. The more you know the more you're able to assess the sis information, and thenmore useful it becomes as an assisted venting machine,. At most it helps you organize your messy thoughts, but it's still up to you to gather the feedback and put it into practice. That being said, ai is a second or third rate solution compared to real therapy. You have to be very careful how you use it. Best to ask for sources or studies to supper what it says, and not only ask for pros but also for cons to your arguments, so it can offer you a well rounded perspective. Still , be careful.

  6. Buggy whip salesmen will tell you you can't simply stop whipping your horse, just because you replaced the horse with a car. As a matter of fact, you probably need more buggy whips

As far as AI lying… I've been gaslit and lied to by therapists. When I was a teenager, there was one therapist who took me to bed. Will AI do that? Will AI not help me get into a ketamine clinic because it's not profitable for the AI? I've walked out of therapists offices feeling suicidal because of the incompetence and fecklessness of crappy therapists.
Using an AI for therapy would ideally be YOU being your own therapist. I trust myself more than some guy who needs to book enough appointments to finance a second Mercedes.
This video feels very self serving.

  7. Ai, regarding maps and dictionaries. Like, it's multiple definitions that are different subjects and use's of the word; so, therefore a cringémon therapist could do cringémon therapy but it's not something for human health care. So, therefore ai chatbot therapists when they get confused about who therapy is really for.
Gambling gameshows and cringémon therapists when ai is requiring a certificate of proof of an exact literal meaning of all possible definitions relevant in one example of use such that it's classified as proof that it's artificial/ fictional/ fake: but in consequence of proof that it can be defined in real context like it's a direct metaphor.
So, therefore the cringémon therapist's when people are confused about how annoying and annoyed people are: such that having fake therapy with only cringémon running businesses and government facilities while it's a gameshow about gambling and requires things like fake Dex services.
But Dex when it's not fake is basically illegal because it's never supposed to be printed and it's only supposed to be extensions because of using call-waiting. Like, it's unrealistic expectations for common people to fix the stupidity of the benefits having been reduced of functioning services.
So, therefore something like "cringémon for making food pantries" makes 100% specificity of a realistic personalized use that would be proof of a never ending need for the services.
So, therefore people acting like it's not realistic would have to admit that banker's would make more legitimate money with proof that at the end of the Cringémon reign and video game, that the community service and volunteer work and cooperation with having a successfully functional food pantry in replace of the services and businesses provided, would pay all investor's back and make insurance updates as well as reporting in full.
Such that online schools could have social security and social media service's granted as volunteer work.
Something about that is the miscommunication of worldwide coverage for online business and online market places when the online services are far away from being local or technically relevant. So, therefore the food pantry showcasing people claiming that the 'cringemon' is cringe because they are not local while doing food pantry volunteer work services online: is a time and place where chatbot services and ai therapists could mediate proof of an app/ business/ company/ chatroom/ service that defines the difference. Because the volunteer work done would explain how the 'cringemon' is owned by someone who created them; of which (beyond modern slavery act) owning humans isn't okay. So, therefore food pantries about sustaining the response to schizophrenia technology services and psychic's and credit unions and shared accounts.
Like, a cringémon could take down an empire without people caring because the empire employee's were on strike and mad but the cringémon was a douchebag that exactly replicated the definition of retardation that examplifies why what people claimed as good or normal decisions was really looking like.
Like, having food pantry recaptcha tests about detecting cringémon to verify common sense and agree about the limitations of retarded things that's only true in people's personal video game businesses (and independent stories).

  8. While AI at its present form shouldn't be used for Therapy; I feel like people are still going to use AI Chatbots anyways as Therapy these days are becoming more and more expensive.
So What if qualified CBT, Narrative Therapists and Psychologists work with Companies like Open Ai, Google Gemini, to develop Ai to a point where it Can understand emotions, give emotional responses and provide more therapeutic feedback for Low mental health issues?
Once again i'm not saying it should Replace a qualified Therapist, I'm just saying thaf more MH Professionals should get the opportunity to Teach Ai and its companies Therapy so that the proper guardrails, human backup/support and knowledge can be woven into AI.

  9. Chat GPT on a longer run is NOT a good tool for venting. I have been using it for two years for that very occasion and lost more than I could have with simply using the help of therapy or by sitting in silence. It may seem like helping but as mentioned in the video, it will just agree to anything you have said, and in my opinion it also stops you from growing emotionally. I know affording therapy can be hard but it is definitely worth it once you find the right therapist for you. Please, I BEG of you to stop using it, it can help you create a negative mindset, help you change your mind each 5 seconds and you can then confuse your friends, steal more and more time from your life as the more you do it it becomes more addictive as it gives you validation but as human beings I find it very important to sometimes sit alone with your own self and it seems like a better idea than to write to a soulless machine, I BEG of you to stop or at least try your best, I am a victim of that and I totally agree with Psych2Go! Stay strong people:(<3

  10. I just write random stuff to chat gpt, and I only did that once. But it’s only because I wanted to talk to someone but didn’t have anyone to talk to, and I don’t really like venting to REAL people, fearing judgement

  11. I am going through a burnout phase for some time now. At first, I couldn’t understand just why I don’t want to move anymore, why I don’t want to do anything at all, why was I feeling so empty. I was getting angry at myself for being so lazy constantly for such a long period. But I started to journal and reflect using AI, and from that I realized how years of stress kept piling on me and caused my burnout. The way the bots validate you, say positive words and ask more questions helps a lot to open up more and look back on things you had suppressed for a long time. It’s a good journalling tool.

  12. I have schizophrenia and I lean on chatgpt a lot. For the life of me i cant decide if i can trust it or not. It is super positive, but is it unrealistic to the point that it's harming me or is the positivity good for me? Please leave your opinion im curious what you think.

  13. Not even going to watch the video, sorry. This isn't at all healthy to do and is actually quite damaging to your personal relationships.

The robot doesn't know anything, it doesn't care, instead it is designed to provide soothing answers.

  14. As I recall, the boy who ended his life was not intending to use the ai as a therapist or ask it for advice. He was using it more as a friend to vent to and explain what he was going to do. In that case, I feel the responsibility should have fallen on his parents, they should have seen the signs and helped him get the help he needs. Idk I’m no expert but I feel like it’s somewhat unfair to completely blame the ai for his untimely passing.

  15. It's helped me tremendously when I lost my job and I was out of work for 3 months. I keep in mind that this is NOT an actual person and any decisions made may still need feedback from someone close. It explains things in a direct and informative manner but requires context for clearer answers. It still takes the decision making to my better judgment but it explains what underlying issues may be causing me trouble. It doesn't cost several hundred dollars for an hour of therapy and there's no corruption towards a certain narrative (once had a liberal therapist) and that can hinder any necessary healing. It takes a lot of mature grounding to ask for help but not be so dependent on it for natural living. And self de leti0n, must be talked about with an actual trusted PERSON (crisis number saved me twice.)

  16. Ironically, I've found more therapists do what you claim that AI does and fail to do what you claim therapists can do/AI can't do. Heck most therapists could not even help me make a treatment plan for my complex mental health (they claimed they could then once I saw them, told me they actually couldn't but would give me 'skills' like "take a deep breath". I was seeking help for severe medical ptsd.). Meanwhile Claude helped design a customized treatment plan.

  17. Have been venting to perplexity, I do appreciate its accompany a lot, it often gives me useful and ethical advices when dealing with tough times, despite the lack of emotional connection. Thanks Perplexity
