Ramona, thank you so much for being here this morning. Thank you, Jaylen, for having me this morning. Our absolute pleasure. To start us off here, let’s talk a little bit about how nature and being active outside, how that helps um your your mental state. Well, I think research shows being um you know exposed to nature reduces our stress levels and it enhances our cognitive creativity and I always encourage having um you know our breaks during the day whether we’re taking that 12 or 1 hour during lunch break that brisk walk or taking a 10 15 minutes uh you know break outside coming back to what we need to do and it kind of gives gives us that recharge and get back to maybe being better quality of work as well during the day. Absolutely it does. That is so important. So, we’ve covered mind and body. Now, let’s talk brain health. How does being outside in nature help with your brain health? Well, I think exposure to sun, it gives us that vitamin D. It also um improves our emotional uh I guess reduces our emotional fatigue and the more we have that vitamin D again it exposes uh our immune system boosts that energy levels and just kind of welcoming that because they think it’s so important to focus on our mental health and wellbeing. For sure it is. That is very important. So you know we talked about those um lunch walks getting outside. How does other exercises in nature help your mind and your body? Well, again, I think it’s just our cognitive functioning. We want to uh be involved out uh you know, exercising and doing what we can to improve our health, our well-being, eating, it helps with our sleep, and uh again, we just want to be active in our crazy busy day. Yes. so important to just feeling well inside and outside. So for anybody who’s maybe looking to get in touch with Gateways Counseling, how can they do that? Where can they learn more information? Um well, we can uh reach out to calling us at 3065456121 or our website Counseling and uh we’re welcoming clients all the time. So absolutely fantastic, Ramona. Thank you so much for being here. This is such an important conversation to have. So, I’m really glad we could have that this morning. Thank you so much. Our absolute pleasure.
