Back to School Mental Health with Mark Twain Behavioral Health
Mental Health Monday, sponsored by Mark Twain Behavioral Health. Hi, I’m Jessica Sublet, schoolbased therapy coordinator for Mark Twain Behavioral Health. We can all agree there’s nothing as precious and valuable as our children. We want them to be healthy. So, what better time to focus on their mental health than back to school time? Struggles with issues such as anxiety, social pressures, focus and attention, and emotion regulation can get in the way of academic success and school performance. School-based therapy programs offer dedicated one-on-one and group therapy services to students K through 12 while at school at no cost to families. Bringing licensed counselors directly to students also removes barriers of transportation and stigma. At March Behavioral Health, we continue to be committed to enhancing the overall health and well-being of those we serve as we have for over 50 years. This innovative program is revolutionizing how we support our youth and it may be available in your child’s school district.
