Hi, my name is Ali Sayed and I’m a psychiatrist here at Mosaic Lifeare. I personally like to partner with our patients and uh involve them, you know, in treatment planning, involve them, you know, in the decisions that we make based on their values and their interests because they may not be the same as my values and interests. And it’s what’s important to them that ultimately matters. it is treatable and recovery is possible with the right treatment. And so, you know, I’ve seen this as a testament in my practice for people to go on and thrive in their careers and have families and live successful lives even with severe mental illness. I think it’s been very rewarding for me and our team to go out and talk to, you know, congregational care leaders and partner with them and educate them and train them in mental health first aid for youth and for adults looking out for signs and symptoms of behavioral health challenges, substance use challenges to learn how to identify, understand, and respond to the needs of their congregation.
