  1. Did he say what facilitiy he was at? Dont feel like re watching from detail but would like to see if it is still there. crazy how many of these mental institutions were proven to just be torture camps

  2. After isolating you from any family or friends or even anyone your age and put you in a cage, you're depressed so basically, we're going to keep imprisoning you.

  3. Reading the psalms God will not forget the abused, the orphans and widows and God will give justice at the end of days. Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on me.

  4. Wait–how are you gonna skip from him living with family to him going into the hospital? You don't think maybe that deserves an explanation? Seems like a pretty big plot hole, my guy.

  5. 7:58 "My only joy in life was to see the treë". What happened to him was horrible. It was not a hospital, more like a prison. He seems eloquent, and there was so much hope in his voice towards the end of the video. Wishing him the best in life.

  6. i've been to institutions both voluntarily and involuntarily and while i've healed since then, the shit that i experienced in those places sticks with me to this day. my c-ptsd, while better and easier to manage, still rears its head from time to time. it's crazy to me that some of the things i experienced actually happened. these institutions need more funding, better staff, better care, better environments… i've had good and bad experiences with them, but i majorly found the most help from outpatient 1-on-1 therapy than anything inpatient. we need reform.

  7. ive seen this stuff happen at mental hospitals before. i struggle with bi polar and i usually am released because i can fake by having good behavior. but there was a guy there that had schizophrenia and he was there for months. i just dont understand why you would hold someone there for that long when hes clearly not a danger to himself or others. yeah he might need support but mental hospitals arent supposed to be a prison. but it feels that way even if you are simply depressed. they keep people there for too long and its actually scary if you are in there because you dont know when youre gonna be let out. im very lucky and privileged that i get to walk out and enjoy the fresh air. alot of people cannot fake it and genuinely do want help its heartbreaking.
