  1. CBT helps you realize that the world really is full of @ssh0l3s but to tell yourself that it could be worse and you can live your life the way you want regardless of them. My doctor loved to say that "I can't stand it" is a distorted thought because we actually can stand anything but death.

  2. I tell you something that I know now. First every woman who has what a say is not autistic. However I am just finding out I have autism at48. I am 51 now. At an early age of 10 I started to have depression and cry out of no where. I often did not know why. Most often though it was because I was aware I was different with learning disabilities. I had trouble with lots of things. Especially communication as far as socializing. My self esteem has been detrimental. I can say that it does not happen to all autistic woman but finding out many do have problems controlling emotions. This is one thing I have seen to do CBT to get help. I am just starting. I am suffering. Many people are. Please don’t give up and pray. Don’t ever give up. We can do this!

  3. So I deal with DPDR and I'm not a negative person. The reason I have DPDR is because of an occurrence that happened when I was 17 with Marijuana. 5 years later. Dpdr hit me. I was never a negative kid. Loved life. Always a good influence. But I heard CBT would help with DPDR. But for me. Idk how it would help…

  4. No I don't think about myself that way. Sometimes people are uncaring, even family members. That has nothing to do with me and who I am. It affects me yes; it makes me sad sometimes, yes. I certainly don't look down upon myself because they choose to be that way.

  5. But it is a luxury and a privilege to be safe enough. You cannot heal if you are still being abused. Nobody gives a fuck. There is no way out for most people.

  6. Automatic thoughts- thought tracking
Downward arrow questioning (figure out the underlying core belief)
Talk back to that negative voice

    Thought stopping
