Back after a Hiatus – Let’s End the Silence on Mental Health

My name is Javael, and in 2020 (September 3rd 2020) to be exact I started a brand with the slogan “#SmallWinsCount”. At that time, I was fighting some of the hardest battles of my life.

I’m a veteran, and my journey has been shaped by struggles with anxiety, depression, multiple suicide attempts, and deep loneliness. It was in those darkest moments that I realized something powerful; mental health awareness isn’t just important – it’s necessary.

What started as simply selling t-shirts became something much bigger. It became a mission for me to create connection, to remind people that they aren’t alone, and to make mental health awareness accessible for anyone walking a similar path.

But like mental health itself, this mission hasn’t been a straight line. I got burnt out doing everything alone when it came to the brand, and I had to step back and take a longgggg hiatus. That pause taught me something essential: this work is not about perfection or finishing – it’s about continuing. It’s most importantly about the journey, not the destination.

That’s why today, I’m reintroducing this brand with a new message;
“Don’t Let Your Story Defeat You”.

Because your story, like mine, has chapters of pain and struggle. But it also holds resilience, growth, and the chance to turn hurt into hope.

This isn’t just a brand. It’s a community, a reminder, and a movement. For anyone who needs to hear it: you are not defined by your darkest moments.
We are here to walk this road together
