Healthy Coping Skills For Mental Health – How To Treat Depression With Behavioral Activation
It’s crucial to use healthy coping skills for mental health, no matter what mental health issues you may experience. When we use unhealthy coping skills, we may unknowingly be perpetuating a vicious downward spiral of unhelpful thoughts and behaviors. When we inquire about how to treat depression with behavioral activation, what we are really doing is looking at how our behaviors (or lack of behaviors) are leading to continued feelings of depression. Behavioral Activation helps us to understand how what we do, and don’t do, may be contributing to how we feel on any given day. This video gives you a simple 4 step process to beginning behavioral activation so you can start feeling your best.
