“RIDING THE WAVE” GRATITUDE IN MOTION JOURNEY #7
Welcome to the Gratitude in Motion Journey. Today we explore riding the wave of bipolar disorder. Some days crash loud; others roll soft. Bipolar disorder is more than moodiness it’s chemical tides that move beyond willpower. This video isn’t about perfection. It’s about gratitude as ballast. We talk mood journaling how awareness can turn chaos into pattern, fear into information. Gratitude steadies the sail, reminding us that there’s value in both, calm seas and storms.
Take today’s challenge: rate your mood 1–10 and thank yourself for noticing. You’re already practicing balance.
UNDERSTANDING BIPOLAR DISORDER:
Bipolar Disorder is a mood condition involving shifts between episodes of mania/hypomania (high energy, fast thoughts, impulsiveness, less need for sleep) and depression (low mood, fatigue, hopelessness). These swings aren’t character flaws they’re the result of chemical and neurological changes in the brain. Treatment often includes mood-stabilizing medication, psychotherapy, structured routines, adequate sleep, and consistent support. Recognizing triggers and early warning signs helps prevent relapses. Gratitude acts as an emotional stabilizer reminding us of the constant, beneath the changing tides.
