Living with a schizophrenic

At thirty-three, Patrick is schizophrenic. He is already in his sixth hospitalization. Magali, 22, suffers from visual and auditory hallucinations. The young woman lives in anguish and fears contact with others. She had to stop school in third grade. Her daily life consists of a multitude of rituals intended to reassure her. Also, we discover, at the Bordeaux hospital, one of the rare services in France reserved for psychiatric emergencies. 7800 people pass through it every year. The parade is permanent because, in psychiatry, the number of places is increasingly reduced and the duration of hospitalization increasingly short.

  1. How beautifully quite and focused Patrick is while painting 🙂 His therapy must include painting and or overall ART … and he is doing such great paintings too, its fantastic .. All the best for your future Patrick , take good care !❤ Stefan from Hong Kong

  2. Here's my thought. It's ok, if nobody agrees. I was diagnosed a schizophrenic in 2020. Now, I believe in God and I believe in demons. I hear bad things and good things. I've read the Bible, the book of revelation, and the book of Enoch. Now, I've sat with doctor's who told me it was the drug's that caused it. So, what I did is got into the medical field as an employee. People, I took care of,
people who have been diagnosed with the same thing I have been. And, these people I took care of never did drugs in their life. I've read, in the book of revelation, and God said in the book of revelation that he regretted giving humanity a gift. That gift my friends is telepathy. The reason why God regretted it, was because it drives some people crazy to the point of insanity. My question is with everything I've read. Why, does the medical field blame it on drugs, trauma, and a chemical in the brain that is not working. Voices, in minds dates back thousands of years. Yet, it's never brought up in the medical field. I truly believe demon's are manipulating people who hear voices. I'm not crazy, nor do I think that anyone is. Remember in the first Bible that was published, in the new testament, it said, for Jesus casted out demons in people. Jesus did say, if you have intrusive thoughts, think of me. Instead of throwing people in institutions that cause more harm, why not teach them and help them by bringing them closer to Jesus. I believe Jesus is the way. For the word's of Jesus, said, follow me.

  3. Consider that he might be a victim of high technology electronic weapons attacks – they usually are – even if they do not know it. 2025

  4. I knew a priest in Westminster who had a son suffering from it and on occasions who found his Son trying to set fire to his bedroom in the middle of the night and yet when you met his Son he was quite a lovely lad but his moments of Schizophrenia got the better of him – his Elderly Dad was a priest and helped looked after his Son – eventually his Son when into Supported housing where Staff could be around 247

  5. Cannabis can also help Cannabis is not all drugs like ketemean and cocane are the same as Cannabis or dmt is the same as smoking a joint Cannabis works better than my adhd and ADD works that well I stopped heroin and crack cocane this is really odd or french and 20 years behind in medicine

  6. This show is really giving people the wrong impression about people with schizophrenia. They are making it seem like all schizophrenics are this way. Schizophrenics have only 1% more chance of being violent than people without schizophrenia. Do my life experiences I've known several schizophrenics. They can be very intelligent and fun people to be around.

  7. The part where Michael is talking to his mom at the table about sometimes not really be there but acting ill. I have this feeling that he was not always being honest about his"attacks" make heroes faking it.

  8. How would you behave if the only interaction with other people is negative judgement? Those people surrounding them like cockroaches really have no self-awareness.

  10. MY BROTHER LIVED WITH MY PARENTS BOTH PASSED NOW. I AM TAKING CARE OF HIM, I LOVE HIM AND AM AND WILL TAKE CARE OF HIM. THERE IS NO HELP IN SO CALIF I HAVE FOUND AT ALL! HE HAS A WONDERFULL LOVING HEART AND HE IS GOOD. WE WILL MAKE IT WORK. WE ARE BOTH CHRISTIANS. IT MATTERS TREMENDOUSLY. LOVE MATTERS HERE.

  11. The title is bad. Don't identify people by their disorder call them a person with schizophrenia. Don't call white people whites and black people blacks or Mexican people Mexicans. Stop taking the humanity out of everything and maybe I can stop being paranoid. Maybe when people choose to not be a holes then I can stop being paranoid. Until then no friends no one just people I like and people I don't like that's all I have. Be human.

  12. I know what you mean i have 2 boys and their in a place helping them because i cannot help them I tried to plus I'm single older and their adult children boys. Their dad has all the resources and he needs to help them.❤

Hani tedavi ?..

  14. I think drugs are what caused his illness in the first place. He did too much and snapped. I couldn't work there. That constant blabbering about the dXmbest 💩. Horrible. I already can not stand so called sane people, these mXrXns kill me.

  15. When do those bullshit institutions finally close? 🤦‍♂️ – 7 year „treatment“, no results, well, seems like it’s all about exploiting problems of people to make money with it🤷‍♂️

  16. What's the doctors are not telling you is these are people with mental illness after the doctor's experiment medications on them the medications make them act and look and feel crazy

  17. I understand well the care of those who are fighting to live a normal life with this sickness. They are our brothers and sisters. The saddest part of this documentary is the poor translation from French to English. Many comments are not translated properly at all which gives a distorted reality of these different cases.

  18. First patient be like:
    I'm unstoppable
I'm a Porsche with no brakes
    I'm invincible
Yeah, I win every single game
    I'm so powerful
I don't need batteries to play
    I'm so confident
    Yeah, I'm unstoppable today

  19. I know this was 3 years ago and filmed in 2006 but Michael is taking advantage of his parents his not sad his vary happy doing nothing and given everything, and when his mother said we never seen him cry wow his a sycophath 100% his parents should of put tough love and see what he would of done.

  20. I watched my husband slowly deteriorate from being sober, productive, getting a degree, building a life from a horrible childhood to his schizophrenia exploding in his 30s.

I had to divorce him as he tried to kill me believing someone had "killed me and taken over my body". Not all schizophrenics are violent, but how it is treated in the US increases the likelihood of them becoming violent in a horrible manner. Very accurate incite into this disorder. Very important for people to understand.

  21. When Patrick was speaking to the doctor, there were nurses sitting there listening. That is out of order. What happened to patient confidentiality. That doesn’t happen in this country. When you see a doctor, you are just with the doctor, no one else is in the room. That’s what it should be like.
