Stigma. Shame. Mental Health. #shorts

It’s time to stop the stigma. Taking medicine for mental health is nothing to be ashamed of. Get the help needed, but don’t abuse medicine. If medication is what is needed, there’s no shame in that. Are you listening? #mentalhealth #faith #anxiety #health #medicine

  1. Sometimes peace comes quietly, when you stop fighting your feelings and start listening to them. The book Celestial Soulmate on a site named Veniverse reminded me that healing isn’t about moving on fast, it’s about loving yourself enough to take your time.

  2. I take a shot every six weeks and a few little pills for my condition, I hate to take it and had a problem with it for 20 years taking it everyday. But I had to accept my condition and that meant taking the medicine. I found a good Dr that is competent and thinks the world of me. So I will continue to take it. And further more of I could or knew how I would like to advocate for the mental health and people that have been abused. I would love to , there is no sense at all in feeling any shame for having a problem mentally or being abused and feeling shame. Amen

  3. I love her we drove to Long Island to see her wow she is amazing I haven’t see her circulate in a very long time happy to see her pop up on my computer. Go Joyce go. Love her candidness

  4. Thank you so much, Min. Joyce, for your transparency. This testimony, as the others you've shared, is soooo encouraging. I have no words except, "Father…thank You for understanding me."
