I have had problems all my life. Late stage ADHD diagnosis. I believe that food, lack of sun, lack of community and other things play a part. I'm great in a crisis, I intervened in a post office robbery a few years ago whilst others stood around a reamin, however I hate chaos. What I w come to believe recently is that I am a square peg in world of round holes. I've spent years trying to make myself fit that round hole. Desperate that I can't seem to but everyone else seems to fit ok. Rather than change to fit the round hole I just need to fide a hole that I can fit. I'm not the problem it's just I live in a word that doesn't work for me so I need to find one that does. Not sure that even makes sense.
we spend the first 18-25 years not growing and then we have to grow extremely fast to catch up. No wonder it feels miserable. We do not learn how to live in school and not from most parents. We stay in the safe spot because there's no motivation to get out, and it bites you all at once when you are completely unprepared
For me it's speed. The speed warped my perception of life. When I was a student, it's allowed to try a whole ass year to get your grade from 75 to 82 and be considered huge progress. Now I want to be a writer, despite writing almost daily and keeping a forever growing note, everything is considered failing if not instant: financial gain, big crowd, publishing deal, social media presence, network with big names in production and IP handling etc. I have no connection. I'm just a small town avverage joe trying to write a story people may want to read. I can't just post a month or two months and get at least 1k follower magically. "Everything should be instant" is a deep and fast poison. I hate it with a burning passion but I can't cure it by myself since the environment is seeded in it.
Hey, I don’t think it’s healthy to platform someone who’s against tap water purification. Chlorination and fluoridation of water is safe and prevents disease. Blaming mental illness on tap water only makes sense in cases where lead or other heavy metals are present. This channel is usually sound on science, but in this case, I feel that ascribing tap water as a contributor to rising mental health issues is unscientific and conspiratorial. Peace.
Objectively we have more free time than ever before in history. Kids at the turn of the century were made to work within society. We were surrounded by death and contamination in our water ways with the numerous devastating disease outbreaks. We even public executions constantly exposing us to death. Not saying there aren't chemicals in our food or water but we are becoming so hyper aware of it all we risk forgetting the incredible progress that's been made. We have more time to proactively work on ourselves and I think we get swept up by no fault of our own in the times we live in branding social media or the internet as bad. We are too early in it's development and our interaction with it to know this for certain and for the human conscious cycle to balance out with it. Unfortunately for us we are at the base of this curve so it's hard to see the upturn
We need to take on more historical context when entering these discussions about the troubles we face. It can make it seem the end is nigh. And id imagine this is a feeling humans felt often throughout history. The majority of humans have never had it so good. I mean it hasn't been that long since women had barely any rights and marriage was often during the teens with little choice in who to. Lots of societies have come along way and of course have a ways to go. We are more acute to the injustices in our local and global spheres. And this is also down to the very recent exposure to it on an inconceivable scale than any other point in human history. I mean let's be real a little over 100 years ago the average human would work in a factory from sun up till sun down. The factories would spew toxins out constantly with no understanding of the consequences. Those are the foundations of our current crisis. It's easy to blame modern cooperations because they are here now but this system is established to provide a more level standard of living compared to what came before. The goal is increasing improvement not a golden answer
Thank God I didn't have any kids. With every year that goes by, I would have a harder time trying to explain to them why I brought them into such a messed up world.
Don’t take all these seemingly plausible arguments as a definitive truth for the question asked. This individual hasn’t done a single study and claims such things. While those claims might or might not have impact on the given topic, studies need to be cited. Evidence needs to be presented—always!
Social Media and its comparison with other people. Back then, when you were a good blacksmith for example, you could easily be the best blacksmith in the city, town, whatever. Your competition was your local area. Now, your competition is the entire world. And you will every day see people who are better than you. You will see every day people who have a better life than you. You will think very fast, you are replaceable. Not unique. Maybe a failure. Depending on what the algorithm shows you.
Seeing death in the news was a tragedy in the past. Even more seeing the thing actually happening. Today it is 3 scrolls away.
Mental illness such as depression and anxiety cause illness within the psyche. Are you struggling with mental health conditions such as anxiety and depression? My channel offers additional mental health support. My content is focused around understanding and managing mental health. I am an advocate for psychological freedom. I value you and your mental health ❤❤❤
Everyone is living in different circumstances and upbringings. Truth is there's many reasons for different indoviduals on why they are suffering with mental healrh. Judging those people and belittling them by just saying "go outside" doesn’t help. It actually makes them think you're a bigot
Lol not him making a soft pitch for Dr. K to be a "real" doctor.
But seriously, this is why I'm a mental health social worker. We have to come together to help each other survive these systems that's ruining us/our planet.
When someone says "too much sociological change", I resist the idea. Because what is being said "we are moving too fast culturally".
This thinking is a deeply conservative framing. It's essentially saying that we should not be so quick to acknowledge things like gay marriage, trans rights and so on because it makes everyone else uncomfortable. That's not an acceptable thing.
When people are treated like they're subhuman in a society. The best time for the establishment of their rights is right now. I don't care if other people are uncomfortable. They aren't the ones with limited rights.
Is what was happening at 30 really happening at 18? Children were born to be a labor force, so people started working in fields and mines at ages 8–12. To be fair, let's also consider how old Alexander the Great was when he established his empire. But the point makes true sense.
Lost me at the chlorine in tap water contamination part. It 1-3 parts per million in tap water, sadhguru should stick to philosophy given he doesn’t understand dosage and dilution.

I don't think we should platform land mafia
Climate change, wars, instant gratification system, increasing obesity, social isolation. We are cooked.
Gaslighting is the most toxic

Greater access and more openness to accepting treatment which inherently includes diagnosis plays a huge role in increasing rates of diagnosis
Sadhguru: “First software will break, then hardware will break.”
Dude just dropped some Truth
Was macht Harald Krull hier?
95% food comes from the planet. What’s the extraterrestrial 5%?
Impressive to see Dr Kanojia switch on the listening mode.😊
Big fan of your work, Sadhguru is a fraud, unfortunate that you consider his unscientific and detrimental opinions valuable and are platforming it
"Things that used to happen at 30 are happening at 18" yeah, except getting a dependable job
Well said and agree 110%
Wait “95% of our food comes from this planet” WHICH 5% DOESN’T ????
In complete agreement with sadghuru here.
I think and feel the exact same way.
I kinda feel it's the opposite. People get mature slower. People used to get a job at 17, now they get their first job at 22

This is true and frightening.
But lead poisoning is down so that's cool 😎
"First software will break, then hardware will break" Damn
"First Software will break, then Hardware will break".

Technology is speeding up the world. I'm soo burnt out trying to keep up. There is always something else that has to be learned or you fall behind.
Why are you associating yourself with this fraud?

He is just leads this randomly along with his save soil mission
This so called guru advocated the c injection and yet he tallks about poisons in the body, hypocrite! And take the goddam glasses off!
First software will break, then hardware will break. For real!
Totally fully nailed it. It’s sad. I hate that I was born in this generation (born in 1998).
