TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A new partnership is aiming to expand mental health awareness across the Tallahassee community, particularly in Frenchtown.

Apalachee Center and Bethel Missionary Baptist Church solidified a new collaboration recently, called the Apalachee–Bethel Initiative for Mental Health (AIM), according to a press release from the organizations.

Bethel Missionary Baptist Church is one of Tallahassee’s oldest churches, and the Apalachee Center is the leading behavioral health provider in the Big Bend.

The partnership will “expand access to behavioral health services, raise awareness of mental health resources, and strengthen the well-being of families throughout Tallahassee,” per the press release.
