[Music] every day we’re faced with depression anxiety a sense of loss every day we Face stressors at times that we cannot overcome ourselves and there needs to be a place that you can come to that will give you that sense of hope I believe Streamwood is that place our six core values at Streamwood are communication teamwork accountability Integrity respect and professionalism I find that these values are intrical to the performance of all our staff they bring out important parts of what we represent the six core values here are more than a business strategy they are the core of who we are our leadership team here strives for it our employees model it and our environment shows it we have over 350 employees here and we all come here for the one simple reason and that is to live by those core values and reflect them back to our patients uh one of our company core value is communication and it is very important communication is a critical component of what we do here at Streamwood there’s a lot of different people involved in the treatment of these children and it’s important for us to be able to communicate with each each other and with the community at large to make sure that we make a meaningful intervention for these children once they leave communicating amongst everybody what’s going on what the next step is what we need to do is is very important to me teamwork is most important here at the hospital every level it starts in our intake department where families are welcomed into the hospital we get a sense of what crisis they’re dealing with and get them settled into the appropriate line of services the Frontline staff do an amazing job job with the kids the adolescence communicate with the parents they’re really the ones who are the heart and soul of the hospital they’re working 8 n hour shifts at a time with with these kids and providing them the support they need they help run the groups teamwork is very important to me in my role here I work with many people I answer the phone calls for the facility and greet people at the door we’re all here for the same reason and that’s the best way we can do our job and advocate for the patients is when we have teamwork accountability means to me um being Dependable U being the type of person that that they can count on and that goes from U myself and my team I think being able to take responsibility in all aspects within this sort of thing is really important one working with the kids um well I think accountability is very important because you need to be able to back up what you do [Music] being a part of the community there’s a quality that we feels very important and that is integrity by us showing Integrity they learn Integrity so by us demonstrating Integrity um soundness then they know what it looks like so that way they can they can obtain that same Integrity so respect has many different facets here I think that first and foremost we have an ethical obligation to respect uh the patients and the families that come to us well respect and equal value to me is when your fed employees they respect you who you are what your title is the idea of professionalism is exhibited through the individual and we believe we bring that out best here at Streamwood when I entered the field I made a commitment uh as a professional counselor and what that means is not just showing up for work punching in working hard and leaving it is about constantly striving to achieve that code of ethics that I committed to uh when I became a licensed counselor it’s not one of those things that you check the box and professionalism I’m done it’s something you have to really work at every day our communication gives hope our teamwork gives hope our accountability gives our integrity gives hope our respect gives hope professionalism gives hope our core values give hope I know that there is hope for for every child that comes through that door [Music] [Music] [Music] oh e
