Lafayette High freshman Easton Trott, won Rockwood’s inaugural “Threads of Hope” mental health awareness T-shirt design contest with a shirt that boldly displays 988, the national suicide prevention hotline number.
The contest, which was open to students in grades 6-12, received more than 60 artistic submissions promoting mental health awareness and spreading positive messages of hope.
Representatives from Rockwood’s Student Services Department are currently working on a process through which schools and community members can order the shirts.
