Organised by Feathers and Flowers of Dalton and hosted by Roose Pioneers ARLFC in Barrow, the free wreath making session will take place on Thursday, November 27 between 6.30pm and 9.30pm.
The event will raise awareness of the local branch of Andy’s Man Club, a charity that encourages men to open up about themselves in the hope of decreasing the national rates of suicide.
The organisers said: “Come join us to make your own Christmas Andy’s Man Club wreath in a safe and confidential space.
“[The] event is open to all men aged 18 and over, you don’t need to attend Andy’s Man Club to attend the event
“This is a free event made possible by our lovely sponsors; Browns Meats, Empowered, Rosses, and Roose Pioneers.”
