Oxford United midfielder Will Vaulks has been nominated for the Fifpro Players Voice award for his work in suicide prevention and mental health awareness.

The Wales international led Oxford’s Can We Talk? campaign in 2024, which this year launched suicide prevention workshops for Oxfordshire schools as well as piloting an innovative app designed to save lives.

The campaign is supported by the UK’s largest suicide-awareness initiative Baton of Hope, of which Vaulks is an ambassador.
