MADISON, Ala. — Madison City Schools is hosting its annual Mental Health Fair on Thursday, Nov. 13, connecting families with local resources focused on mental wellness, trauma recovery, and substance abuse support.
The event, held from 5 to 7 p.m. at Midtown Elementary School, will bring together more than two dozen local organizations. Participants can explore hands-on activities, learn about warning signs of substance abuse, and access information on mental health services for children and families.
Organizations attending include The Enrichment Center, Not One More Alabama, WellStone, Nova Center for Youth and Family, the National Children’s Advocacy Center, E.WE Foundation, the Alabama Department of Mental Health’s Autism Services, Madison City Police Department, SAM Foundation, HEALS Clinic, Kids to Love, the Military Child Education Coalition, United Way of Madison County, Grandparents As Parents, Madison County Foster & Adoptive Parent Association, and the Regional Autism Network at UAH.
The fair is free and open to the public, offering parents, children, and families an opportunity to explore resources and learn tools to support mental wellness at home.
