PCHC expands its mental health services amid long waits for help

Penobscott Community Health Care is expanding its mental health services at a time when some Mainers are waiting weeks, oftentimes months, for help. — Most
— recently, the agency moved its mental health services to its Brewer Medical Center, the larger space now known as PCHC Behavioral Health Connection. Allows people to get access to therapy the same week of referral. Leaders with PCHC say they are currently helping more than 1700 patients receive mental health services, including medication management, counseling, and therapy. It’s OK if you’re not feeling OK.
