Day In The Life of a Behavioral Technician – SpringHealth

foreign in every single day and just having having a smile and leaving with a smile at the end of each day because every day I come in here I have fun regardless of the client’s day that they’re having if it’s bad or good I try to leave here with a smile on my face moms or even weeks after that session just seeing like the little things or the big changes it’s really rewarding to see that so I think that’s definitely like the top thing about this job for me so I feel like a lot of people have this preconceived notion that it’s going to be just a difficult stressful job but when you’re really in it you realize it’s not really even that it’s a lot of fun it’s a lot of getting to know your client a lot of just building a relationship and you’re helping them teaching them as well I mean seeing the growth like just remembering when you bury your very first session with that client a clinic day you start off really playing with them and getting them involved and excited to be here we usually do some table time which is like their skill acquisition anything from just simple motor imitation to like identifying colors shapes writing reading math it’s just really rewarding to see how the kids change and the improvements that they have just the progress that I see in each of the kids as the months and the years go by it’s just extremely rewarding I’ve gained a lot of confidence in my ability to actually like change a kid’s life and just help them progress and gain more Independence [Music] foreign [Music]
