The City of Monroe Police Department reported the following incidents for the period Nov. 14 – 21, 2025. Due to the length, this report has been split into four parts. This is the final part. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

Warrant Attempt – Tanglewood Lane- In reference to locating a wanted subject. Negative contact.

Suspicious Person – East Marable, North Madison Ave- In reference to the complainant stating that someone dressed in all black was following her down the street. The subject was gone when officers arrived and the complainant did not wish to meet with Law Enforcement. Area checks conducted.

Suspicious Vehicle – East Marable Street, Mathews Park- In reference to a vehicle in the park after hours. The occupants were informed of park hours and sent on their way.

Fire Assist – Zaxby’s: In reference to a fire in the building. Main issue was a gas leak. Turned over to Monroe Fire Department.

Business Alarm – East Washington Street, Blue Hound Printing- All windows and doors secured, no signs of forced entry or foul play. Ongoing issue.

Suspicious Vehicle – West Spring Car Wash – In reference to a Mercedes Benz on location for an extended period of time, unoccupied. Contact made with the registered owner who advised that it was having mechanical issues.

Hit and Run – Chipotle- Two vehicles, with vehicle 1 fleeing the scene. The suspect vehicle is a newer model white Chevrolet Cruze bearing Ga tag, which does not belong to the vehicle and returns to a white Buick Encore.

Vehicle Crash – Wal-Mart- Two vehicles, private property, and no injuries. GEARS report.

Traffic Stop / Arrest – Hwy 138 / Michael Etchison- In reference to a named subject having an outstanding warrant out of Winder PD. He was taken into custody and turned over to Winder PD. Vehicle towed by Taylors.

Threats – Breedlove Dr- Subject transported to Piedmont Walton due to a statement made to the Doctor. Turned over to Med 3

Vehicle Crash – 2050 W SPRING ST; WALMART MONROE: In reference to a vehicle rolling back and making contact with the vehicle behind it at the red light. No damage to either vehicle, crash report declined.

Theft Report – 140 Blaine St: MPD: In reference to a theft of an EBT card at Park Place Nursing Home where the complainant resides in the County. Turned over to Walton County Sheriff’s Office.

Welfare Check – East Fambrough Street – In reference to the resident having a medical issue. Officer stood by till family arrived.

Accident – Hwy 78 and Aycock Ave – Gears report completed.

911 Hang Up – Bryant Road – Negative contact at residence.

Unknown Law – W Spring St- Medical call turned over to Med 7

Juvenile Complaint – King St- In reference to juveniles being in the complainant’s yard and hitting her vehicle with a ball. Juveniles were gone when officers arrived.

Welfare Check – South Broad Street – In reference to a welfare check on subject. Contact was made with subject and all was ok.

Juvenile Runaway – Breedlove Dr; Ridgeview – In reference to 14-year-old running away from his therapy session at Ridgeview.

Accident – Hwy 138; Tokyo – 3 Vehicle crash, no injuries. Upon arrival Georgia State Patrol was on scene and stated they would handle the crash.

Juvenile Problem – Plaza Dr – In reference to a named subject acting out due to wanting to go back to Atlanta, situation mediated.

Suspicious Vehicle – S Broad St; CVS – In reference to a male using the ATM machine at CVS being loud and shouting obscenities at the staff and customers. Complainant advised the subject had driven by the store three times in his vehicle and shouted out to staff before driving off. No contact was made with the vehicle. Complainant was advised police would patrol the area and was advised to call 911 if contact was made with the subject.

Suspicious Person – E Spring St / Glenn Iris Dr – In reference to subject crossing the roadway. The subject was advised of remedies.

Juvenile Runaway – W Spring St; Piedmont Walton – In reference to a subject running away from her grandmother while trying to enter Piedmont Walton. Subject was located at Dunkin Donuts and returned to Piedmont Walton where she was turned over to her grandmother.

Area Check – Downtown on Foot – All okay.

Suspicious Vehicle – Hwy 78 E / Walton Truck Stop – In reference to the caller advising a vehicle was following her too closely traveling towards Athens. WCSO was advised of the vehicle due to officers not in the area and was unable to catch up prior to the city limits.

Accident – W Spring St; Taco Bell – In reference to a two vehicle accident with no injuries and very minor damage. Incident report completed.

Other Law – E Spring St; Popeye’s – In reference to a civil dispute over a refund; complainant was given the wrong food and requested a refund. The manager advised that he wanted them criminally trespassed from the business. Another employee on location advised that complainant at no time became angry or loud. Complainant was issued a trespass warning for 1 year, and she was given a refund.

Suspicious Vehicle – Stonecreek Bnd – In reference to a vehicle parked near the pool for an extended period of time. The vehicle was gone when officers arrived. Area checked, all appeared ok.

Suspicious Person – Graystone Church / Golden Pantry – In reference to a subject on location wearing a hoodie and carrying a duffel bag. All ok.

Traffic Stop – E Spring St / Spring Street Family Dentistry – In reference to subject driving without insurance. Vehicle turned over to Taylors without incident.

Area Check – Hwy 78 / Unisia Dr – In reference to an anonymous female, requesting an area check for a gray SUV possibly driven by a male subject. She advised that he does not have a Driving License and is possible on drugs. Area checked, negative contact.

Agency Assist – Towler St; Monroe Airport – Assist Gwinnett Police get inside terminal at Airport due to having to land due to cloud cover.

Dispute – Pavilion Pkwy; Whataburger – In reference to a dispute between a customer and staff, upon further investigation it was discovered it to be between two customers. One party was gone and staff advised the party on location was fine to stay.

Foot Patrol – 6th and E. 5th St – All appeared okay.

Foot Patrol – Monroe Pavilion – During patrol of the businesses I located an Unsecure door at 830 Pavilion Pkwy, all other businesses appeared to be okay.

Unsecure Door – Pavilion Pkwy Allure Nail Bar – A door at the back of the business was located during a foot patrol. The building was cleared and secured.

Foot Patrol – Home Depot – All Okay.

Loud Music – Tall Oaks W. – In reference to loud music in the area. No loud music upon arrival.

Suspicious Vehicle – Meadow Walk Dr – In reference to subject on location, delivering food to his girlfriend. All ok.

Other Law – Douglas Street – Reference to Complainant’s juvenile son receiving an adult toy from an unknown subject. Report Taken and CID notified.

Suspicious Vehicle – W Spring St – Complainant requested to make contact with the owner and have the vehicle removed before Friday afternoon. Contact made with vehicle owner who stated he was removing it today

Extra Patrol – MAHS – All is okay

Other Law – Frogs Pawn S Broad St – In reference to retrieval of stolen property. Turned over to Sheriff’s Office.

Follow Up – Clifford Court- In reference to WCSO locating the suspect and suspect vehicle from yesterday’s hit and run at Chipotle. Female subject was taken into custody on numerous traffic related offenses.

Motorist Assist – 78E &138 over pass-Vehicle out of gas, stood by until subject arrived with gas can.

Vehicle Crash – Hwy 138 / W Spring St- Two vehicles, no injuries, minor damage. Both parties declined a report.

Entering Auto – Pavilion Pkwy – In reference to a U-Haul being entered. Nothing taken.

Traffic Stop – E Spring @ Dairy Queen – Male subject taken into custody for active warrants out of Barrow County.

Violent Domestic – West Marable St – In reference to a dispute between subject and a named female subject. The named female subjectwas taken into custody for aggravated assault.

Dispute – N Broad St; Texaco Monroe – In reference to a named male subject on location intoxicated and causing a disturbance. He was Criminally Trespassed for two (2) years from the location.

Warrant Service – Alcovy St – Named male subject taken into custody for probation warrants. Turned over to Walton County Jail without incident.

Other Law – Chestnut Cupboard – In reference to a female trying to sell illegal drugs. Negative contact.

Juvenile Problems – Pavilion Pkwy; Publix – Caller advised unattended child in car, vehicle was Gone when officers arrived. No contact made.

Welfare Check – Glen Iris Dr – In reference to subject requesting officers to check on her mother, who suffers from mental issues. Contact was made; she was ok.

Agency Assist – E Spring Street – A state prisoner was released who had an active warrant out of Richmond County. Attempted to make contact with the subject, but was already on a bus bound for Atlanta, then NC.

Suspicious Vehicle – Hwy 11 at the City limits – Caller advised vehicle failing to maintain lane and was off roadway, no violations were observed inside the city limits.

Mental Patient – Glen Iris Dr – In reference to a named female subject on location having a mental episode. She was transported to Piedmont Walton for a 10-13 evaluation. Mental Health survey completed. Report taken.

Suspicious Vehicle – Hwy 138 / Cannon Farm Rd – In reference to a Prince Ave bus failing to maintain lane. Area checked negative contact.

Traffic Stop – HWY 78 EB / Edmondson Rd. – In reference to a named subject Driving with no insurance. The vehicle was turned over to Taylors. Citation was given for no insurance. Report taken.

Dispute – GW Carver Dr. – In reference to the caller disputing with her daughter over prescription medication. Remedies advised.

Dispute – Hwy 78; Waffle House – In reference to a named female subject refusing to leave. She was transported to GW Carver at her request.

Area Check – GW Carver Dr – Caller advised subjects being loud and possibly trying to enter her residence, noise was subjects in front of their own residence. All okay.

Suspicious Person – Kelton Rd / Meadowbrook Dr – In reference to subject in the area on a bike. Contact was made; he advised that he was just heading home after watching a movie with a friend. It was confirmed that he resides on Kelton Rd. All ok.

Other law – Davis St – In reference to complainant advising that subject was attempting to get into her residence while she was at the convenience store. Complainant advised she saw subject run away from her house toward E Church St upon her arrival. No signs of forced entry. Area was checked, negative contact.
