GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) – Back in July, WBAY told you about Children’s Wisconsin’s plans to open a walk-in mental health clinic in Green Bay, located in the Bellin Behavioral Health Facility in Allouez.

The clinic, which is just the third of its kind in the entire state, opened just after Labor Day, and has already helped over 100 patients in those three months.

Now up and running, we wanted to check back to see the impact the clinic is having on kids in the area.

Mandy Quesnell, Director of Acute Mental/Behavioral Health at Children’s Wisconsin, answers questions in the video above.

WBAY is a proud sponsor of the 9th Annual Santa Cycle to benefit Children’s Wisconsin.

We will be out on the bikes this Saturday morning to help raise money for Children’s so they can bring to Northeast Wisconsin care like the mental health walk-in clinic, and the Children and Adolescent Center in Ashwaubenon, and have their specialty surgeons perform procedures at the Emplify Surgical Center in Ashwaubenon.

Join us for the ride: a fun, festive affair through green bay, starting and ending at badger state brewing. Doors open at 9 a.m., ride starts at 10 a.m., and we should all be wrapped up by noon.

So, come out and join us, even if you don’t want to ride, and we are monitoring the weather; if we have to adjust the route, we will.

But cold or not, the drawing tickets for 3 Fats bikes is the way to help support the cause. You don’t have to be present to win the bikes, you just have to be able to pick them up; we will get you all the info.

So, purchase those tickets, and join us if you can for the 9th Annual Santa Cycle to benefit Children’s Wisconsin. We have raised over $150,000 in 8 years, so let’s keep it rolling!

You can find a link to all the info on this website, or on Facebook, at Santa Cycle Green Bay.
