LIBERTY TOWNSHIP, Ohio – Mercy Health and Lifepoint Behavioral Health have opened the Mercy Health Behavioral Hospital on Belmont Avenue, adding new inpatient behavioral health capacity in the Mahoning Valley.
The 72-bed, 62,000-square-foot facility includes therapy rooms, activity spaces and semiprivate patient pods designed for a range of psychiatric needs.
Officials say the hospital, located next to Mercy Health Rehabilitation Hospital, will transition patients gradually and expand services to include intensive outpatient care in 2026.
