The City of Monroe Police Department reported the following incidents for the period Nov. 21-27, 2025. Due to the length, this report has been split into three parts. This is the second part. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

Public Drunk – Quality Foods – Complainant stated her husband was on location, impaired by alcohol. The complainant was not on location. Negative contact.

Dispute – Pavilion Pkwy – In reference to the complainant advising of two employees verbally disputing on location. Both parties were separated and sent home.

Fire assist – S Hammond Dr; Government Building – In reference to multiple alarm activations, all ok by MFD.

Vehicle Unlock – Chestnut Cupboard: Vehicle unlocked. No damage.

Locked Vehicle – Maple Ln – Vehicle unlocked, no damage observed.

Firearms – Ridge Road – Several callers reported hearing 5-8 gunshots in the area. Complainants were anonymous. Area checked. No evidence was observed of gunfire in the area.

Traffic Stop/Agency Assist – Hwy 78, Edmondson Road- In reference to locating a BOLO vehicle for Loganville PD. Named subject was placed under arrest and handed over to LPD for shoplifting. The other two occupants, were also placed under arrest due to them both having active arrest warrants. They were both transported to WCSO without incident.

Warrant Attempt – Atha Street- In reference to locating a wanted subject. Negative contact.

911 Hang Up – Tanglewood Dr – Contact made at apartment who advised all was ok on location.

Burglary in Progress – Tall Oaks W – In reference to a female subject reporting someone possibly breaking in after hearing a loud noise. The residence was cleared and surrounding apartments, no signs of disturbance or foul play was observed.

Domestic Dispute – Walker Drive – In reference to male and female subjects disputing over items in their home. Female subject was able to collect the items she needed while units stood by before leaving without issue. All okay on departure.

Suspicious Vehicle – Meadow Walk Drive – In reference to a blue passenger car in the roadway with doors open. Owner located, all okay.

Mechanical breakdown – Carwood Drive – Driver backing down driveway went off and got stuck partially in the ditch. She was able to get it out and there was no damage as MPD arrived. No report requested.

Vehicle Accident – North Broad / Highland Ave – In reference to a two-vehicle collision with no reported injuries.

Loud Music – East Church Street – On going issue with loud music complaint. No music was heard. No action taken.

Vehicle Unlock – MLK Jr Blvd – Vehicle Unlocked. No damage.

Loud Music – East Church Street – On going issue with loud music complaint. No music was heard. No action taken.

Business Alarm – Plaza Drive / Premier Kids Care; All doors secured.

Traffic Stop/Arrest – South Broad St / Chevron – Vehicle stopped for equipment violation. Driver was placed under arrest for Poss. of Sch. II (Methamphetamine), Misdemeanor Marijuana and License Violation. He was fingerprinted and transported to the WCSO Jail without incident.

Business Alarm – W Spring St – Sake Express – All doors secured.

Suspicious Person – Tyler St / N Broad Street – Urban camper in empty lot behind Texaco. Make shift tent located behind the empty trailer. Verbal warning given.

Mental Patient – Victory Dr – In reference to the complainant advising his roommate came home and was yelling, possibly having a mental crisis. Contact was made with roommate who advised he was having a mental crisis. Contact was made with advantage who advised they were not taking any patients currently and referred Officers to Piedmont Walton. Roommate agreed to seek further treatment at Piedmont Walton and was transported there without incident.

Vehicle Unlock – Pavilion Pkwy- Vehicle unlocked with no damage.

Dispute – Deer Acres – Subject disputing with the occupants in the room next door. Situation mediated. Remedies advised.

Foot Patrol – Henson Drive- Foot patrol conducted throughout the construction site. All okay.

Sexual Assault – Mayfield Drive – In reference to the complainant reporting a sexual assault that occurred earlier in the day. Report taken, on call CID notified.

Disabled Vehicle – HWY 78 WB @ Marable St Bridge – Subject on the side of the roadway with a flat tire. Taylor’s was called to come assist with tire change.

Dispute – Deer Acres – In reference to previous call; After Taylor’s arrived and assisted in the vehicle repair, the subject was unable to pay. Hill then disputed with Taylors staff and while fleeing the scene attempted to hit Taylor’s staff with his vehicle. He was apprehended at Franks Valero and charged with Aggravated Assault and Theft of Services. He was transported to the Walton County Jail without incident.

Mental Person – Baron Dr – In reference to the complainant advising her caretaker locked her out of the residence. Contact was made with the caretaker who had no knowledge complainant left the residence due to the time. Complainant and the caretaker were advised of remedies.

Vehicle Crash – CVS- Two vehicles, no injuries. GEARS report.

Traffic Stop / Arrest – N Broad St. / Texaco – Vehicle stopped for equipment violation. Driver was found to have a suspended license for FTA. She was placed under arrest, fingerprinted, and released on copy.

911 Hang Up – Bryant Road – On going issue. Area checked throughout the day.

Traffic Stop – Hwy 78/North Broad – Vehicle stopped for speeding and window tint. While stopped it was discovered to be the suspect vehicle involved in a hit and run in Counties jurisdiction. Turned over to WCSO.

Theft – Classic Trail – In reference to the complainant located her son’s bicycle that had been stolen but not reported. Bicycle was return and the complainant did not wish to press charges. All ok.

Prowler Report – Elm Dr. – In reference to a 14-year-old hearing someone knocking on the front door and calling her name. No one was observed on location; all appeared okay.

911 – Cloverdale Dr- 911 hang up, ongoing issue. All was okay


Fraud – Hwy 11 N- Complainant lives in county referred to the sheriff’s office.

Welfare Check – Carwood Dr. – In reference to complainant’s grandmother concerned for his mental wellbeing. Complainant was spoken with and went with his grandmother to be evaluated at Advantage without any issue. Survey completed.

Traffic Stop – Hwy 78 and Hwy 11 – Subject arrested and released on a copy of the citation for driving without a license following a traffic stop.

Vehicle Crash – Ammons Bridge Rd / Masters Dr.- Single vehicle crash vs a pole, no injuries. GEARS report.

Vehicle Crash – North Broad Street – Two vehicle accident. No injuries. GEARS report.

Vehicle Crash – W Spring St.- Two vehicles, no injuries. Parties declined to have a GEARS report made.

Disabled Vehicle – N Broad St / Pavilion Pkwy – In reference to a vehicle with a blown tire in the roadway. The vehicle was moved from the roadway and awaiting private tow.

911 Hang up – Radford St. In reference to a 911 hang up on location. Homeowner advised all was ok.

Dispute – Davis St – In reference to a dispute between two subjects. Remedies advised and parties separated. Report taken.

Alarm – W Spring St – All okay on location.

Threats – S Broad St – In reference to a named subjectwanting advice about obtaining a Temporary Protection Order, due to his future father-in-law threatening to beat him up over food stamps. Remedies advised, report taken.

Vehicle Unlock – W Spring St @ Marathon – Vehicle unlocked no damage.

Other Law – 140 Blaine St; MPD – Subject attempting to report an incident that occurred in Duluth, he was advised to contact LE in Duluth about the matter.

Accident – N Broad St / Highland Ave – Two vehicles, no injuries. GEARS report.

Suspicious Person – S Hammond Dr – In reference to observing a male subject inside a closed business. Contact was made with owner, who works at the business. All ok.

Child Abuse – Prince Ave; Piedmont Athens – In reference to a report of a possibly child abuse incident that occurred at Rose Ison Ter at 1645 hours this date. On-call CID was notified. Report taken.

Dispute – S Broad St; Old Courthouse – In reference to two subjects arguing. One stated that the other pushed her, however there was no evidence to corroborate her story. No charges taken. Report taken.

Threats – W Spring St – In reference to the complainant receiving a phone call from a subject. No threat was actually made during a verbal dispute between them. Remedies advised.

911 Hang up – Walton Rd; Walton Press – All okay on location.

Wanted Person – Old Mill Point – In reference to an anonymous female complainant advising that subject was on location on Old Mill Point with a warrant. An attempt was made to make contact at the residence with negative results.

Suspicious Vehicle – Alcovy St Legion – In reference to a subject parked on location to take a nap. The subject agreed to leave without incident.

Prowler – Magnolia St – In reference to the resident hearing someone on his front porch. Area checked, all appeared ok.

Suspicious Vehicle – E Washington St; Synovus Bank – In reference to a green Jeep Liberty parked on location after business hours. The vehicle was found to be unoccupied. All appeared ok.

Hit & Run – W Spring St; Harry’s Marathon – In reference to a hit & run that occurred in the parking lot. The at-fault driver fled the scene on foot and was later identified. Gears and incident report to be completed. Warrants to be taken.

Alarm – S Broad St: Secure Storage: Employees on location, all okay.

Motorist Assist – N Lumpkin St- delivery truck unable to exit parking lot after delivery to Pot Luck and Tacos n Beer.

Dispute – Plantation Dr – In reference to the complainant advising his packages were delivered to the address. The house was searched and no packages were discovered.

Civil Issue – Ammie Briggery St – Complainant canceled prior to arrival.

Verbal Dispute – Springer Lane – In reference to two complainants arguing about multiple kids spending the night for three days straight keeping them from sleeping. Situation mediated.
