TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) – A lot of people focus on physical health with new year’s resolutions, such as eating better or exercising more.
But don’t forget about mental health, too!
David Schmitt, immediate past board president for NAMI Kansas, visited Eye on NE Kansas with some advice.
Schmitt said the most important thing anyone can do to start the year is take stock of their mental health. If you’re feeling depressed or anxious, consider professional help. Even if you think you’re doing okay, be sure to take stock periodically to ensure you’re taking time to find balance in life.
