TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) – A night of dining, dancing and fun aims to shine a light on mental health services in the greater Manhattan area.

Deanna Nitschke with LightMHK and event co-chair Belinda Snyder visited Eye on NE Kansas to share information about “The Light Within” masquerade ball.

The event will support LightMHK’s efforts to remove barriers to mental health care access in the Manhattan, Wamego and Junction City areas.

The Light Within: A Phantom’s Ball for Change benefiting LightMHK is Jan. 31 at the K-State Alumni Center. It starts with a VIP cocktail hour at 5 p.m. General admission doors open at 6 p.m. D

Tickets are $125 for general admission and $200 for VIP. They may be purchased at LightMHK.com.
