The Shop with a Hero program has received the support of workers at Sanilac County Community Mental Health. On Monday, Chief Program Officer Jamie Reinke (right), and Children’s Supervisor Tabitha Jensen (left), on behalf of the community mental health staff, presented a check for $1,075 to Sheriff Paul Rich for the Shop with a Hero program for 2025. At Shop with a Hero, children from struggling families shop with first responders for holiday gifts in December for their families. Mental health workers contributed the money through their ongoing Casual for a Cause fundraiser.
