Actor David Harbour, who recently concluded his role as Jim Hopper on the Netflix hit “Stranger Things,” left the production of the upcoming film “Behemoth,” reportedly to concentrate on his mental health.
Deuxmoi reports Harbour had a “challenging moment” while working on the film, which also stars Olivia Wilde and Pedro Pascal. It led to his decision to leave the film.
Variety reports a representative for Searchlight Pictures confirmed Harbour had left “Behemoth.”
Last year was a challenge for the 50-year-old Harbour. Despite the success of “Stranger Things,” which had its series finale last week after five seasons, he was accused by co-star Millie Bobby Brown of harassment and bullying.
He also was overwhelmed by the hype surrounding the end of the series and he skipped a show-related celebration in New York City last month, Us Weekly reports.
He also separated from his wife of four years, singer Lily Allen.
Harbour has been open about his struggles with bipolar disorder, Deuxmoi reports.
