TULSA, OKLA. (KTUL) — GRAND Mental Health has been selected to continue providing Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) services throughout Tulsa County under a newly awarded contract, allowing the organization to maintain care for existing clients while expanding access countywide.

The new agreement removes previous restrictions, giving GRAND the flexibility to serve individuals and families across all areas of Tulsa County.

This ensures people currently receiving services will experience no disruption in care while opening the door for more residents to receive behavioral health support.

GRAND Mental Health CEO Josh Cantwell says the contract reflects a strong partnership with the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services and a shared commitment to meeting the growing behavioral health needs of the community.

He emphasized that maintaining CCBHC status in Tulsa County strengthens access to care for residents who need it most.

Founded in 1979, GRAND Mental Health has a long history of serving Oklahoma communities and currently operates as a CCBHC provider in 13 counties across northeast and north central Oklahoma.

The CCBHC model focuses on whole-person care, bringing mental health treatment, substance use services, and connections to physical healthcare under one coordinated system.

By emphasizing care coordination, the model helps ensure services work together seamlessly, supporting improved health outcomes and long-term stability for individuals and families throughout Tulsa County.
