  1. I take Buspar and itโ€™s the best anxiety med Iโ€™ve tried. Very light, can take more as needed, donโ€™t feel high at all on it. Just a calm feeling. Hydroxyzine felt like I was taking half of a Benadryl, but it didnโ€™t help me sleep or slow my mind at all.

  2. Doterra serenity or anything with passion flower will calm you. Essential oils will calm you. Rescue remedy is great to take under the tongue when you're in a panic attack. I like all the ideas that you gave. I think I'm going to put one together.

  3. Mine come in two formsโ€ฆthe hyperventilating, numb, muscle seizing hands and feet, and the gut twisting nausea that I canโ€™t tell which end itโ€™s going to come out, so I hit the bathroom with a garbage can with two bags in it and a cold rag for the back of my neck and prepare for either/both.

  4. Whenever I get panicked I always yawn…like back to back yawning I figured I was tired, but I always do that when I'm at work….so like a full hour I'm yawning and trying not to cry because I'm just panicking. I use gum and we can listen to music so it usually calms me after an hour.

  5. Videos like this make me realize I must not have as manageable anxiety as people like this.
I literally feel like I'm about to jump out of an airplane and now I feel like I'm about to jump out of an airplane but I have sour candy in my mouth

  6. I have Vicks inhaler in my pouch and some mint candies to help with the panic attacks. At the moment, I am on mitrazepine for both mdd and my panic/anxiety disorder so Im hoping it can help me long term. Also the gum…idk i like chewing gum but i have bruxism so itll give me aches lol

  7. I have a diagram from my therapist about what happens to your body during panic attacks. For some reason having logic explanations help calm me down. Fun facts help. And then doing a body scan where i go head to toe and tense and relax each little part of my body to see where my tension iz and calm it down.

  8. My hubs picks his thumbs when he's anxious.

Our son who is 10 also picks his thumbs to the point where they bleed. He hasn't ever been exposed to my husband doing this, it's not something we've shed light on so he couldn't have just picked it up because dad does as a conscious effort….
Its absolutely fascinating to me that it's gotta be genetic. My brother in law also does this but it's my husbands half brother so it has to come from his mom's side.
Anyone have tips for finger skin picking for a kid? We've used bandaids… They don't really work.
