The North Central Missouri Mental Health Center Board of Directors approved the agency’s fiscal year 2025 financial audit on January 27th. Executive Assistant Pam Wright says the audit showed a clean report with no issues.

The agency received a Value-Based Payment from the Missouri Department of Mental Health of $126,843 for meeting all performance metrics. In recognition of staff efforts, the board approved staff bonuses totaling $151,000, including taxes. The bonuses will benefit 129 employees, and they will be issued in February.

It was announced that three employees will share the Wallace R. Green Education Assistance Award for continued higher education. They are Carson Burchett, Haleigh Heldenbrand, and Nancy Shanley.

The board adopted a new banking resolution to update authorized signers after recent officer changes.

Mary Quinley was welcomed as a new board member. She is a former therapist and North Central Missouri Mental Health Center Children and Youth Director. She said she remains committed to the agency’s mission.

Quinley is the health center’s Harrison County representative. She replaced Rita Martz, who resigned in January after 14 years of service on the board.

In facility updates, it was reported that the Milan office lease ends in August, and a new space is being explored.

Brookfield renovations are underway. Completion is expected in three to four months.

The Behavioral Health Crisis Center opened in October. It was said that it was operating smoothly and expanding community outreach.

The agency completed a recent state audit with no paycheck required. It was noted that was a first in memory.
