Rise Above Push Beyond Mental Health Awareness Summit will be held on April 18 at the Walker County Civic Center from 10 a.m.-3 pm.
“This transformative event will focus on mental health awareness, combating all forms of depression and empowering women to overcome life’s challenges and push beyond toward their full potential,” organizers said. “Our vision is to create a day of inspiration, education and connection where women from all walks of life can gain tools, encouragement and resources to rise above obstacles and thrive.”
The event will feature national guest speaker Dr.
Cynthia Taylor, live music featuring BET’s Season 2 Sunday Best Winner Y’Anna Crawley and Psalmist Kimberly Thomas, and empowerment workshops.
