  1. After a decade in a work environment so cognitively and emotionally depleting it could be classified as a controlled experiment in human exhaustion, I reached the inevitable conclusion: burnout. I resigned, entered a two-year period of recovery best described as a psychological hibernation phase, and have now re-emerged into a reality where, to employ a metaphor accessible to the general population: I can once again see the sky. And yes, it’s still there

  2. Im taking a step back from my relationship because of the burnout. I’m aging out of the foster care system and on top of that I’m not getting support from my own partner so I feel broken in the relationship. I’m dealing with thoughts and I’m afraid I’m gonna end up in a behavioral hospital or in an actual hospital. I also don’t want to relapse with hurting myself so we both agreed that we are not ready.

  3. I care about my health. My self love mstters to me. About exercise and everything. I do that everyday but i feel burned out everyday.

    Its not about putting small things way for me. Its just they still feel overwhelminh. But i keep my diet snd exercise in tact because it makes me feel confident snd healthy even if i am burned out

  4. As a musician that's definitely what I'm dealing with. I spend DAYS on a project just for it to not turn out right or its just too miniscule.. As a result I feel like I've wasted the whole day. And don't feel like doing anything or talking to anyone.
