JEFFERSONTOWN, Ky. — Norton Children’s continues to seek community input for the new pediatric care campus, with a virtual listening session set for 6 p.m. CT on Tuesday, Feb. 17.

The new campus will be located near the intersection of interstates 64 and 265 in Jefferson County, Kentucky, and offers surgical suites and emergency care as well as integrated behavioral health services, family spaces, and pediatric research facilities.

According to Norton Children’s, the interactive session aims to give families, educators and community members an opportunity to learn more about the future campus, ask questions and share ideas that will directly inform planning, services and design.

During the session, participants will hear updates on project progress and be invited to share feedback on topics such as needed pediatric services, family-centered care and how the campus can best support children’s physical, emotional and mental well-being.

According to the health system, a central focus of the campus will be addressing the growing mental health needs of children and adolescents through the integration of behavioral and mental health services alongside comprehensive medical care.
