Sixth-year senior Allyson Alden is raising money for BroncoBOLD, leaning on her skills in the sand to do it.

BOISE, Idaho — Boise State beach volleyball player Allyson Alden is working to raise funds for mental health resources during her final year in college. And she’s leaning on her own athletic ability to do it.

The sixth-year senior is launching “Allyson Alden’s Block Party,” a fundraiser where donors can pledge a dollar amount for every block or ace Alden records during the 2026 season. All proceeds will go towards BroncoBOLD, a student-athlete led initiative that breaks down the stigma around mental health.

“I’m extremely excited to launch this fundraiser centered around mental health, a subject I deeply care about,” Alden said. “I’ve struggled with mental health for most of my life and I want young people and athletes to see real examples of resilience.”

Last season, Alden recorded 96 blocks and 67 aces in her first season with the Broncos.
