A free educational series of webinars on parenting to support youth mental health, open to the public, begins Wednesday, offered by Lancaster-based nonprofit Touchstone Foundation.


Touchstone Foundation offering scholarship for students in mental health fields

The inaugural episode, titled “Understanding Youth Mental Health Today,“ features Dr. Thomas Foley, a board-certified child, adolescent and general psychiatrist who works closely with young people and families across all developmental stages. Foley values collaboration with parents, caregivers and schools as essential to supporting youth mental wellness. The webinar runs from 7 to 8 p.m.

Registration is required and can be completed at touchstonefound.org.

April 15 – “Parenting in the Age of AI & Technology”: Navigating screen time, social pressure, and modern stressors facing families.

May 13 – “Early Support & Proactive Care”: Recognizing early signs and supporting youth before challenges escalate.

June 17 – “The Future of Youth Mental Wellness”: Preparing families for what’s ahead through connection, adaptability, and community support.
