The Hopkins County Health Department has partnered with a new resource to provide free mental health support to the community.
“This free, confidential mental wellbeing resource is available 24/7 for our community,” read a post from the Health Department’s facebook page. “Whether you are looking for support with stress, anxiety, sleep, parenting, substance use, or just want to check in on your own mental health, CredibleMind offers trusted tools, self-assessments, and easy-to-understand guidance all in one place.”
The free resource, which can be accessed online at https://hopkinsco.crediblemind.com allows people to access free mental health assessments and tools online either as a guest or logged in as a member. Neither require payment by the individual, but joining formally allows data from past visits to the website to be accumulated and more readily referenced.
The program works with national and regional health plans, hospitals, employers, unions, public sector agencies, community organizations and more.
“With more than 150 partners and over 40 million lives supported, we help organizations deliver results that are proactive, personalized, and measurable,” the Credible Mind website states.
The website includes short mental health exercises targeted to an individual’s specific need, and longer, multi-step courses or series on a variety of mental health issues. The Hopkins County link also provides a list of local resources for people who may need a professional’s assistance beyond what the website can provide.
“Mental health matters,” the health department stated. “We’re proud to offer hopkinsco.crediblemind.com, a free, confidential resource offering trusted tools, local support, and self-care guidance. Whether you’re thriving or facing challenges, help is available at your pace, anytime.”
