God I really wish people knew that a job doesnβt have to be about the money. Truly Iβm currently broke, and about a couple months ago all I could think about was how to make more money, so I could buy a house, pay for insurance, buy a newer car, etc. but recently Iβve been put into a βWillβ thatβs worth millions, and now. All I can think is, βwhy was I fighting for this?β I thought about leaving my job, but realized that, Iβd soon be left unhappy, and unfulfilled, and bored. This gave me a new perspective on my job. That My job didnβt have to be this daunting task that I dreaded for five days a week. It could be something that Iβve always wanted to do for people! It could be a job that aligned with my values. To everyone not liking your job, then donβt do it. I too have had some terrible jobs, and the best decision Iβve ever made was leaving, and finding one that I knew had my same values. β€

As someone who works in the field of psychology, let me tell you that there are many money minded psychologists out there. This goes for every field out there. Doctors, lawyers, every occupation.
Choosing to do work that aligns your values rather than chasing the money is a personal choice/ethics, regardless of which field you work in. It's humanity vs morality, not occupation vs morality. Keep that in mind.
When im older my dream is to be a psychologist. I'm autistic and adhd which makes me happier that I'm going to learn more about myself and be able to help others in the process.
Im Still Praying, Hoping, Manifesting, Expecting, Believing, Have Faith and Waiting Patiently to be ONE OF THE BETTER PSYCHOLOGIST SOMEDAY ππΌππππ₯°πβ€οΈππΌπ»π
