My 13 yr old just got sent there. He's never been away from family and I'm really worried about him. He is 2 hours away from me now 🙁 I hope he gets the help he needs and comes out happy and safe. I just wish I could be with him

The staff here is made up of fucking idiots and Nazis. You know nothing of mental health.
Don’t come to this place they abuse the elderly and even give patients the wrong medication as well as lose their medication. The staff doesn’t help patients when they have a breakdown they just yell at them. Don’t send anyone here

When I was crying in the corner I watched the man in the video Walk past me with no concern about the child hyperventilating in the hallway completely alone
i stayed here for a week when i was twelve. it was hell. this place gave me so much trauma and sent me out worse than i came in. i gained more sh scars in the month after i was sent home than i had in the beginning. when i was sent home, it was only a couple days before christmas. i was so anxious and numb at the same time. i've still not healed. its been a little over a year and i still have panic attacks, flashbacks, and nightmares 2-3 times a week. this place doesn't help, only harm. if you're looking for a psychiatric hospital, please read reviews from actual patients and not staff, managers, family or whatever. btw the night staff fell asleep on their shifts.
This place 0 star worse place ever this one girl would pass out multiple times a day and would be throwing up all day and they didn’t send her to the hospital till she was bout half dead the staff don’t care at all .the doctor literally diagnoses you by seeing what you wrote in them 10 page handbooks you literally can’t show no other emotion there but happiness if you don’t they’ll try to increase your meds they literally try to drug everyone up and just send them back home this place was horrible i learned more from the friends I made in there then the staff,techs, or groups (all we did was color in them groups) you don’t even get a therapist till it’s 2 days before your due date and all they ask is if you feel like k!lling yourself they don’t help if you tell them the truth they either keep you longer or increase your meds till your all doped up it was another girl first night and they didn’t give her meds so she started having seizures she literally fell off the bed and hit her head me and my friends stood there the whole time to make sure she was okay even though I was scared of seizures and never seen one in my life while the staff walked so slow to her room checked her vitamins and left never send your loved ones to this place !!!!
