The second series of Behind the Title, a mental health podcast that interviews leaders across the media industry, has been launched.
The inaugural series of the podcast began in September 2025 and has currently racked up 70,000 listened-to minutes. It focused, and continues to focus, on taboo subjects in the workplace and personal issues leaders have experienced in their personal lives while holding their position.
This series debuts with Pippa Glucklich, former chief executive of Electric Glue, talking about her husband’s suicide nine years ago.
Other guests will include Ali Reed, chief growth officer at Brainlabs, speaking about her experience with menopause, and Paul Sculfor, model and TV presenter, speaking about his past addiction and the Stride Foundation.
Danny Weitzkorn, host and managing partner at Starcom UK, said that having overcome his own struggles with alcoholism and addiction more than 17 years ago, he made a promise to himself to “pass on what was so freely given to me and this pod is one of the ways I do that”.
He added: “When I started the pod, it came from a commitment I made to myself to create content that would genuinely help people with career growth, leadership and mental wellbeing. I never anticipated the reach and impact it would have.
“The personal messages, both online and in person, from people saying they felt less alone or that it gave them the push to seek the right support, those have meant everything. Not just to me but to all the people that have come on to the podcast to share their stories.”
Weitzkorn said that beyond the conversation about “mergers, AI and brilliant campaign work, there needs to be space for real human conversations”.
The second series, which starts today, comprises 12 episodes and is available across Spotify, Apple and YouTube, with social clips on TikTok and LinkedIn.
