Recently, NCBHS announced that it had experienced a data breach in which sensitive personal identifiable information in its care may have been compromised. According to the breach notice shared on its website, on or around December 2, 2025, NCBHS identified unauthorized activity within an email account.1 As a result, NCBHS launched an investigation to determine the nature of the incident.

Through its ongoing investigation, NCBHS has confirmed that sensitive personal information in the emails may have been accessed by an unauthorized third party during the breach. As a result, NCBHS began a review of the data to determine what information had been impacted as well as identify the specific individuals affected. As of February 27, 2026, the exact type of personal information potentially exposed has not been made publicly available by NCBHS.

As a result of the breach, NCBHS posted notice of the breach on its website. Based on the website breach notice, NCBHS is providing affected individuals with a list of the specific types of sensitive information impacted and complimentary credit monitoring services.
