Launched by NHS England, the campaign promotes talking therapies for mental health conditions—including PTSD, OCD, and social anxiety—and features the personal stories of EastEnders actress Shona McGarty, TOWIE’s Charlie King, and former professional footballer Clarke Carlisle.

The service is available across Bath, Swindon and Wiltshire and is part of the wider Bath, Swindon, and Wiltshire (BSW) Talking Therapies service, which is delivered by Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership (AWP) NHS Trust.

Aileen McArthur, head of BSW Talking Therapies at AWP, said: “We are delighted to be part of this awareness-raising national campaign.

“Anxiety impacts the lives of so many, yet most people don’t seek professional help and struggle on with a condition that can be debilitating.

“Through this national campaign, we hope to raise awareness of the support available, so no-one suffers alone, and I’d encourage anyone with symptoms of anxiety to seek support.”

The talking therapies service offers confidential support for common mental health concerns and includes cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT).

It is designed to help people manage and overcome a range of anxiety-related conditions, including:

Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD)

Social anxiety disorder

Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)

Panic disorder

Phobias

Body dysmorphic disorder

Support can be accessed without a GP referral or prior diagnosis.

Individuals can complete a self-referral form online or call the service directly.
